Move forward every day.
Take a little step...and then another little step...and another in the direction of your dream.
Are you feeling stuck in life? Do you feel like you're not making any progress towards your goals, no matter how hard you try? It's a frustrating feeling, but don't worry – there is a way out.
The key is to take action, no matter how small that action may be.
Check out the different techniques below that you can use to begin taking action.
1. Set Small Goals
Decide what you want to have, do, or achieve. Start by setting small goals. Don't try to tackle everything at once. Break your larger goals down into smaller, more manageable pieces. For example, if your goal is to start a business, your first small goal might be to research your market or come up with a business plan.
2. Take Little Steps
Once you have your small goals in mind, break them down even further into manageable steps. What do you need to achieve each goal? What specific actions do you need to take? Write them down, and then tackle them one by one.
Here's a secret...
You may know what you want, but have no idea what the right step is to make it happen. That's OK! You don't have to know the exact "right" step to take. All you have to do, is take any step in the right direction. Keep in mind that no effort is ever wasted because what you give out is what you get back. So, just take a step, any step in the direction of your goal.
- Say this affirmation out loud right now:
"With each step I take, I am moving closer to the life I envision for myself!"
3. Celebrate Your Achievements
As you make progress, celebrate every single thing. Even small victories are worth celebrating. This will help you stay motivated and build momentum as you move toward your larger goals.
Don't skip this step. It's important!
